A | : | The beach at Minang Cove is one of the only places on Tioman where live corals are still growing. This means the Marine life that lives on the reef are in abundance. Guests are always fascinated by the variety of Marine Life and Corals; we are trying to keep it this way. |

A | : | The sandy beach declines gradually and being in a cove there are no strong currents. |
Q | : | Do we need Wet Suits, or is the water warm enough. |
A | : | Water temperatures around Tioman are a constant 29 degrees Celsius. You can swim all day long with out fear of getting cold. |
Q | : | Do you have "Sand Flies on your beach ? |
A | : | Sand Flies lay their eggs in organic matter at the high tide line, so we sweep the beach everyday. So "No Sand Flies". |
Q | : | Do you have "Mosquitoes" ? |
A | : | The Resort is surrounded by rainforest so we do have some mosquitoes but only early evening. The species we have on the Island are non Denggi and non Malaria carrying. |
Q | : | Was Tioman involved with tsunami? |
A | : | NO. Tioman island is on east coast of Malaysia and not involved with tsunami |
Q | : | Is there internet connection at the resort? |
A | : | We don’t have internet connection at the resort, but you can get online in Tekek – a 30min boat ride away. |
Q | : | Is the resort open all year? |
A | : | We are closed from 1st November to 1st March every year, due to the monsoon. |
